Look through the labels on the clothes in your closet and produce a table that includes:

Twelve different clothing items,

otheir material (polyester, cotton, rayon, etc.),

otheir brand, and

othe country that produced it.

Find items from at least six different countries (not hard).

Example (use this table)

Item

Material

Brand

Country

Socks

Cotton

Under Armour

Honduras

Pants

Cotton

Levi’s

Philippines

Shoes

Multiple

Nike

China

On the map below, legibly indicate where each item was made.

Create a table that includes three of the countries your clothes items came from and the United States (four countries total). For each country, find the following data: total population, median age, birth rate, death rate, average life expectancy, fertility rate, infant mortality rate, adult literacy, former colonizer (if applicable), GDP, GDP per capita, percentage of the population below poverty line, and the top three exports.

Use the CIA World Factbook or data from the World Bank

Write a short analysis (1000 words) of the results of your research in the table above.

What countries produce your clothes? Are these countries unique in any way, do they share common characteristics? Do the countries that produce your clothes differ from the United States? How? Why are clothes produced in these countries?
