If you choose to do a film review for our unit on gender and sexuality, please choose one of the films listed below and write a short review (2 – 3 pages, APA format, normal margins, double-spaced). Your review should include the following components:
- Brief summary of the film. What was it about? How was the story told? What was the film’s key message?
- What broader concepts and ideas did the film engage with?
- How are power relations (ideological and/or structural) portrayed in the film?
- Brief personal response to the film. Did you like it? Why or why not?
- One substantive question related to course concepts that the film prompted for you.
