When we think of social movements, we usually think about those within our own country. However, the textbook discusses several different social movements that have happened globally. Choose one social movement that has happened globally and explain the outcome of that social movement. You should mention the country, the social movement group, their plight, their success (or failure), and the long-term effect of the social movement. Provide as much detail as possible. Analyze and explain the reasons why these groups were denied the right to vote from a conflict perspective or from a functionalist perspective.
