Collaboration influences the health of everyone it touches. (Quaranta et al., 2018). There is evidence that nurses who undertake a postgraduate study may directly benefit patients. (Cotterill-Walker, 2012). Some studies suggest that higher proportions of nurses that have a baccalaureate level or higher degree that the patients have a lower failure-to-rescue rate and experienced lower mortality. (Aiken et al., 2003). The Association of Public Health Nurses (APHN) is one place that Master-prepared PHN’s can be influential to drive and support change. Achieving vaccine equity and overcoming vaccine hesitancy can be a cause and driver lead by the MSN. Understanding at a higher level the access, health disparities and overall funding mechanism of how public health reaches individuals this cause would be an appropriate movement to be led by the masters-prepared nurse (APHA.org, 2021). Our higher knowledge and resource building abilities increase with education that helps us to better serve our patients.
