The purpose of the written paper is for you to reflect on your course text and module material when answering the prompt(s)/question(s) to illustrate your knowledge of what you have reviewed in this course and your understanding of the material.
Upon completion of your written paper, you should be able to:
- Identify the ways in which understanding and accommodating diversity is important for gerontological theory, practice and policy. (SLO#2)
- Describe how values, behaviors, cultural variation and cultural change can enhance or impede working with delivering services to a diverse aging population globally. (SLO#3)
- Identify facts about culture, ethnicity and aging when observing and communicating with older adults. (SLO#6)

With what you have reviewed in Chapters 8 & 9, Module 7 and your understanding of this class material:
Option #1: How would you improve the Future of Employment in the Context of Global Aging? (After reviewing your class material what would you prioritize as the top 3 issues to solve for a diverse aging workforce (explain in detail why you chose each issue) and what innovative ideas would you propose/recommend for each of those issues to governments, policy makers and employers to improve the future of employment in the context of Global Aging.)
Option #2: After reviewing Retirement Policy Issues for an Aging World, what would you prioritize as the top 3 most important issues (explain in detail why you chose each issue) and what changes/recommendations would you make, to governments, policy makers and employers, to solve each of those issues.
