Assignment Instructions
Please visit the website Probable Causation (www.probablecausation.com). You will find a
series of podcasts in which different researchers discuss their work in criminal justice and
criminology. Look at the different topics (e.g., incarceration, re-entry, policing, guns) and select
one of the episodes. Note that below the episode you can find the “Episode details” in which the
articles mentioned in the podcast are listed. First, provide a brief summary of the researchers’
work and the contents of the episode. Second, discuss at least how one of the issues covered in
the course relates to what is discussed in the episode (e.g., research design, experiments,
measurement issues, causality, ethics).
