Fixing the menu and get the text to appear and then disappear and freeze the timer as well

Hello I need help fixing my group menu. The majority of the menu is working all that I need to do is to add a timer that way after 10 seconds the words press escape to display the menu will disappear and not remain up doing the entire game perhaps you can disable it after it display for 10 seconds.

The last change that needs to happen for the menu for now is getting the timer to freeze when the player pauses the game the timer should freeze as well. Although, there might be more changes that might happen to the menu I will keep you up to date with that. I will also include my group latest build and the game file as well. Using we transfer and google drive and media fire if necessary.

Also there is a test scene folder that has the don’t go out scene make certain to use that one and not the one from scenes

I cannot want to overwrite my group files. Also by using the test scene folder that has Don’t go out scene and the menu scene my group can easily copy and paste my stuff over to theirs.

I am not in charge of the controls at all do not make any changes to the controls scripts or the gravity or the mouse controls or the health at all my group members are still fixing them this week. My group is still using the 2019.4.30f1 version for unity it is required for my course as well make certain to use it as well otherwise data could get lost.
