The main goal is to create a financial analysis about a plan. To see if it can bring profit. The plan is there will be a monthly set of jewelry for Macy’s Rewards Program. The jewelry will be discounted, and at the end of the year Macy will have a donation activities. I need to collect the data to forecast how much value it can bring to Macy. I already list some way that may help:
- Find the relation between total sales and holiday jewelry sales in order to forecast the sales in macy
- Find the relationship between price fluctuations and sales in order to forecast the sales in macy (how price fluctuation influence purchasing)
- Find the relationship between sales and company goodwill(donation activities) in order to forecast the potential profit it can bring
- Find the competitor cost and profit about jewelry sale in order to forecast the sales
- How many employee need to hire for annal donation
- If i can’t find the detail about jewelry in retail, can i use the data Luxury product to replace it? Because the they have some common feature
I only can find the data about the retailer jewelry sales in U.S. The data is too broad that I need some specific or just use the big data and trend to forecast.
