As long as you are saying I am a male and 22 years old (and white I guess?) you can choose the details, I just need help because I have a couple other assignments to do. Nothing too dramatic, just run of the mill experiences and relevant to todays society I suppose.
For this project, you will write a paper about your life, reflecting on your experiences and connecting them to the stages of development and theorists we have studied this semester. The criteria for the project are below:
- The paper must follow APA style and be between 5 and 6 pages, not including the cover page or references page
- Within the paper, answer the following questions in essay format (not just a list of responses) and use examples/explanation from your life as well as the textbook or outside sources to support your answers:
- In which developmental period are you?
- Review Erikson’s theory- at which stage would you consider yourself and why?
- Look back at your life-how were Erikson’s previous stages resolved?
- Chapter 1 discusses the five characteristics of the life span. One of which is the multi-cultural dimension. How has interacting with diverse cultures influenced your development?
- Was there anything in your prenatal development that has had an impact on your life? Describe the impact.
- Think back to your elementary school years. How did your school experience impact the person you are today?
- Think back to your adolescent years. Describe your journey to finding your identity.
- Do you believe you have achieved dialectical thought? Why or why not?
- The theories of James Fowler (faith development) and James Rest (moral development) are discussed in your text.
- Where are you in your faith development?
- Where are you in your moral development?
- Have you made any life style choices that have (or could have) an impact on your health? What are they and how will you change those choices after this class?
- Strong organization of ideas with clear organizational logic and flow of ideas
- Integrate the text or outside sources to support your answers to the questions
- Use APA style for in-text citations and a References page
- Proofread your paper for grammar, spelling, syntax, and sentence construction
