Final Project ( Parts A Paper)
The final project of semester will involve pairing up 2-3 students from your campus
and completing the assignment. Student groups will work together to
select a city or town in Indiana research it’s statistics and write a comprehensive health promotion program plan (paper) that addresses a priority health trend/concern for the selected area. Be sure to consider the rubric requirements. Formal project presentations will be conducted in groups on your campus
as determined by campus faculty (ie IU Kokomo/ IU East). The project
grade consists of points given for the paper and for the presentation
(project dissemination). Peer reviews will be filled out by each person
in the group to determine scholarly student work contribution for both
parts of the project.
Responses to the rubric (below) are to
be based on your administrative or educator role at the hospital.
Paper- each student group should address the rubric requirements using
their own creative plan, including evidence-based rationales and
supporting data as appropriate. Presentation- each item can be discussed
although not be as in depth as (including all the rationales, etc.) as
in the paper, but all key components of the project should be at least
partially discussed in the presentation. Be creative and interactive. The presentation is formal as if presenting professionally, consider the “wow” factor.
