For this discussion, you will choose a video from the list to view and provide a brief overview of the content. There are six videos on the list that are free. You may choose one of those or choose to purchase one if you wish.

Upon successful completion of this discussion, you will be able to:

  1. Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.
  2. Locate Appendix C in Human Trafficking: Applying Research, Theory, and Case Studies
  3. Review the options for viewing videos. Chose one video to view.
  4. Post your choice in the faculty forum. There are to be no duplications of videos until all of the free options have been chosen. This will be based on first come first serve.
  5. View the video.
  6. Navigate to the discussion forum.
  7. Respond to the following prompts regarding the video:
    1. The title of the video.
    2. Was the focus sex trafficking or labor trafficking or both?
    3. Was the focus adults or minors or both?
    4. Was the focus national or international?
    5. Was a specific organization highlighted and, if so, what was the organization promoting in regard to its work?
    6. What major themes were covered?
    7. What victim/survivor issues were discussed?
    8. What age limits would you place on this film to be eligible to view it? State your reasoning.
    9. What was the new area of learning for you? Elaborate on this new learning.
    10. Would you recommend this video for others to view? Why or why not?
    11. Share anything else about this video that you found enlightening.
