I need an explanation for this History question to help me study.

Below is a link to the reading “The Crime of Galileo: Indictment and Abjuration of 1633.” Galileo Galilei was an Italian astronomer, mathematician, and educator. He wrote Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems (1632), in which he supported the Copernican model of the universe. This attracted the attention of the Inquisition. Galileo was suspected of heresy, condemned to life imprisonment, and required to abjure. The reading highlights records from his trial by the Inquisition.

Please read “The Crime of Galileo” and answer the following discussion questions in no less than 250 words.
