Feasibility Study:

You need to develop a feasibility study for an unreal company.

This is crucial for a leader to understand the different segments within the FS and to

determine whether this business has a high probability of success that should be

undertaken. The purpose of the FS is to identify problems, opportunities, determine

objectives, describe situations, define successful outcomes, and assess the range of

costs and benefits to determine if there will be a return on investment. Your FS should

be a minimum of 15 pages and includes the following criteria:

▪ Project Scope (definitive scope, problem statement, opportunity)

▪ Product or Services

▪ Business Model (key partners, key activities, value propositions, customer

relationships, customer segments, key resources, channels, cost structure,

revenue streams)

▪ Company Management & Organizational Structure

▪ Demographical Analysis (geographical location, population,

customers/clients, age, size, …)

Current Analysis (economic conditions, SWOT analysis, KPIs, competition,

technology/system, assessments, interviews, and any other analysis)

▪ Requirements – what are the requirements to establish this business? (type of

commercial license, staffing, location, registration with governmental

entities,…)

▪ Market and Sales Strategy– what are the marketing channels or methods to

brand this business, how to acquire the customers/clients, and increase sales.

Describe the methods.

▪ Benchmarking – identify the competitors or industry peers and provide

thorough benchmarking analysis

▪ Financial Plan – evaluate the startup costs, operating expenses, cash flow,

and forecast of future profits

▪ Timeline – approximate project timeline to successfully establish the business.

Illustrate the work streams with the projected timeline.

▪ Conclusion

Your FS should include figures, graphs, benchmarking table and other visuals to

demonstrate your analysis.

Grading the report will be based on the following:

▪ Quality of the report

▪ Proper English writing

▪ Plagiarism; ex. copying from authors publishing, or other papers

The report should also include:

▪ A cover page (university name/logo, course name, semester number, FS

topic, student name, instructor name, and deadline date)

▪ Reference/s

▪ Appendix if applicable

Format and submission guidelines:

o (times new roman font, size 12, double-spaced).

o Submit the FS as a Word forma
