Please write a 1700 word essay on the role gender and race play in the relationship between Camillo and Link in the novel The Narrows. (ie. Link experiences great power because of his gender but is oppressed due to his race and Camilo experiences power because of her race but not her gender- how does this complicate their relationship? site specific examples in which there is a power differential due to these aspects of their identity).
