Which moral system (e.g. Utilitarianism or Deontology) are you most attracted to? Briefly explain the system and which parts of it you are most attracted to and why. Then, pick one practical ethical problem (e.g. privacy, self-driving cars, geoengineering, whistleblowing, risk, etc.) and explain how the moral system you have chosen applies to the practical ethical problem. Your essay should include discussion of an engineer’s role in the practical ethical problem, and how the moral system impacts the engineer’s actions in a practical scenario.
