Public Service Announcement (PSA) on a Current Health Issue. For this assignment, you will compose a Public Service Announcement (PSA) on the health issue that you selected in M7A1. Use the information and medical terminology gathered from the M7A1 peer-reviewed journal article. Before starting your PSA, prepare a “script” that you can read from and includes key points from your annotated bibliography that you want your audience to ‘take away’.
Include in the Public Service Announcement:
- Key points that inform and educate your audience about the health issue topic chosen in M5A1. Use powerful words and grab the audience’s attention. Be creative.
- The 6 medical terms from M7A1 used properly in the context of the PSA!
- The announcement must not exceed 60 seconds(this should be about 160 words or less) so be clear, concise, and succinct.
- Read WikiHow to Write a Radio Ad (Links to an external site.). Even though this webpage is for writing a commercial, it will give you some ideas for selecting an approach for your PSA.
