- Design a critical infrastructure risk assessment strategy for a specific sector, jurisdiction, or facility.
After sharing your topic with me, compose your final paper by addressing the following:
- Provide a detailed analysis of the infrastructure system itself with the following elements: system definition/description; summary of stakeholders and their perspectives on the system; pertinent historical incidents affecting similar systems.
- Identify and explain vulnerabilities, describe types of threats that could exploit these vulnerabilities and estimate how compromising the system will adversely affect the interests of one or more of the stakeholders.
- Formulate considerations for jurisdictional resilience. Discuss the various approaches/options for mitigating system vulnerabilities and evaluate them in terms of their costs and benefits and ability to reduce or manage risk.
- Discuss emerging trends that may impact your chosen sector, jurisdiction, or facility.
