This is a significant term paper that focuses on the events of 9/11. Select one aspect of the 9/11 attacks and write a detailed and well-researched paper based on that one aspect or the nation’s response to the attacks. You are invited to select your own topic, but potential topics could be:

1. The errors made by the government in not detecting the plot.
2. How the hijackers were recruited, trained, and prepared for the attacks.
3. How 9/11 changed the United States’ domestic and international position on terrorism.
4. Domestic preparedness changes because of 9/11.
5. How 9/11 changed criminal justice policies in the United States.
