Conduct your interview following the steps below:
Create a written list of at least five (5) questions for the interview.
Reach out to your contact to conduct the interview using Zoom (see Zoom instructions below).
- Write down key information and specific quotes as you conduct the interview.
- Be an active listener. Pay attention not only to what the person says but how he or she delivers the information to you.
- Thank the interviewee for their time and answers.
- After you have conducted the interview, take some time to review and analyze the contact’s responses. Then, post the video or audio file and the following to the discussion board:
- Provide a short summary of the interview.
Identify two (2) of the contact’s opinions about the criminal justice system in the United States.
Did the contact identify any areas of improvement for the United States?
- What is one key thing that the United States can learn from the criminal justice system in your contact’s country?
- Please complete the interview question and responses along with the summary of the interview and I will conduct the zoom meeting.
