Evaluating the Ideology of Al-Qaeda

Using the terrorist group Al-Qaeda discuss the following:

Introduction: Please end the introduction with a thesis. The thesis is not a question, a statement of fact, or author information. The thesis is an argument in statement form and in your own words that you would support and develop throughout the paper. Note that the conclusion cannot contain author information.

1. History of the group.

2. Ideology. What did the group believe, and how did that provide direction to the strategy and tactics employed by the group?

3. Variables. Other than ideology, discuss strategy, tactics, accounting (financing), recruitment, and target selection used by the group. Consider how the group uses propaganda as well.

4. CT. Discuss the counterterrorism strategy that was employed against this group. Was it effective? Why or Why not.

Conclusion: The conclusion would not contain author information.

You need to use at least five (5) peer-reviewed and/or scholarly sources (this does not include media).

Your paper should be typed (12 point font), Times New Roman font, Chicago style citations, double spaced and include a title page. Be sure to proof read carefully, as students are expected to submit papers free of spelling and grammar errors. Papers must be 8 pages in length not including title page and references. You must follow the writing requirements provided to you at the start of the semester in the announcements. You must have a clear thesis as the last sentence of the introduction, use research appropriately, and check for writing errors.

I will up load files.
