Before submitting your Assessment, carefully review the rubric. This is the same rubric the assessor will use to evaluate your submission, and it provides detailed criteria describing how to achieve or master the Competency. Many students find that understanding the requirements of the Assessment and the rubric criteria help them direct their focus and use their time most productively.
Data Collection Plan
A critical part of any evaluation plan is gathering evidence to determine the program’s success. In this Competency Assessment, you will create a plan to gather evidence. You will consider the different types of data collection instruments and tools and choose the one that is most important for your public health program. In addition, you will analyze the level of measurement, the reading/literacy level, language, cultural appropriateness, type of data it intends to measure, and the psychometric qualities of the data collection instruments.
