I need an answer for these questions please:
1: Why do we consider non-renewable resources to be “non-renewable”? Also, why are non-renewable resources are considered rivalrous and non-excludable. What does this mean in regards to the sustainability of these resources?
2: Both fossil fuel and biomass are used to generate energy. Briefly describe how the creation of these two energy sources is the same.
3: Why is geography a concern when it comes to sustainable use of metallic resources? What two things can we do to try to reduce the concern of the geographic distribution of these resources?
4. How does the Natural Resource Curse lead to unsustainable development of a country? More specifically, how does it lead to unsustainability related to each of the three pillars? If a country does have a large amount of natural resources, what should they do to try to avoid the Resource Curse?
5: Why is GDP not a good measure of sustainability? What should be included with GDP for it to more accurate represent the sustainability of a market? How does this relate back to the importance of the three pillars of sustainability?
