The Magic of Mythical Creatures: You will need to research a type of mythical creature, such as mermaids, gnomes, leprechauns, goblins, or genies. You will then write an essay comparing the creature that you researched and the fairies in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This means that you will explain, in a complete essay, how the mythical creature you researched (mermaid, gnome, or whichever one you choose to learn about) is similar to (or different from) the fairies in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
If you want a high grade on this assignment, then please write a complete essay of at least 3 paragraphs, with at least 5 sentences in each paragraph.
Also, be sure to discuss or describe the fairies in A Midsummer Night’s Dream specifically. You will get a higher grade if you talk about the fairies in A Midsummer Night’s Dream specifically than if you only talk about fairies in general.
Here is a clue to help you: The fairies in the play are named Puck (who is also called Robin Goodfellow), Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Mote, and Mustardseed.
