Hi,,,
I need an essay minimum of 6 paragraphs(4 pages). I need it by tomorrow.
I uploaded a file with this message there is some instructions about the subject.
Criteria
3-5 pages, 12 pt. Times/Times New Roman font, MLA formatting (1″ margins, double spaced,
MLA headings on all pages), third person. Remember that meeting minimum criteria is a C
(passing); producing above average work is a B; and exceptional work is an A; there is also a 10-
point range within each grade. All grades in the course are percentages.
Your paper should contain a thesis, topic sentences, supporting points, an introduction paragraph,
a conclusion paragraph, and multiple body paragraphs (this is not a 5-paragraph essay, which is a
high school form; you should be able to come up with at least four points to support and develop
your thesis in your body paragraphs). You should utilize all of the information on writing that
was covered in the first 6 chapters of the LBB and in other class materials.
Instructions
In Chapter 10 of Reading Culture, the readings and exercises address the many aspects of
colonialism, post-colonialism, and transnationalism. Choose one of the following prompts to
for the topic of your essay. Note which prompt it is in the assignment line of the heading along
with the assignment title (Ex: Essay #2, Transnationalism, Prompt 3). Remember to refer to the
source material as the basis for your discussion, analysis, and argument.
5. Write an analysis of one or more of the slum tourism Web sites, using the supplementary
articles as a way to put slum tourism in historical perspective and to make sense of its appeal to
today’s tourists or volunteers and the inherent problems as well. Consider, for example, how the
Web sites represent slum life, the people who live in slums, the role of the slum tourism
company, and what tourists have to gain by taking slum tours. Take a position regarding the
positives and negatives of this phenomenon.
