DIRECTIONS: You are to carefully choose ONE common themethat is prevalent throughout at least TWO different works that were assigned during the second half of the semester. The goal of this essay is to demonstrate an understanding of how our world’s many cultures (ways of doing) have developed and evolved from one time period to another. You may choose your own style of argument but I would suggest using examples of the works you’ve selected to prove the theme that you want to discuss.
