Each student will be responsible for ONE topic, which corresponds to an in-class activity. A list of all topics for the report and required appendices will be provided by the instructor during week 2. There can be no duplicate sections in the report (i.e. each firm member should choose a different topic from the list provided). For that topic, the student will conduct an analysis that has four parts:

1. A summary of what their firm did in connection to the activity (approx. 0.5 page)
2. An assessment of their firm’s performance or output on that activity (approx. 0.5 to 1 page)
3. An explanation of how their firm’s performance or output relates to course concepts AND research in at least one academic article (approx. 1 to 1.5 pages) 
4. A summary of what they learned individually about the HR topic based on the activity and research they conducted (0.5 to 1 page)

That means each individual section should be approximately 4 pages double-spaced. Sections that exceed 5 pages will be penalized by 1-2 marks. Each section should include a heading with the topic and name of the author. Students are encouraged to also use subheadings to break their section down into subsections.

3- I emailed my instructor and i asked her how to do it , she replied with this email : 

Hi , you should be discussing why your firm had the levels of absenteeism it did by connecting it to research on absenteeism. You could discuss ways of improving absenteeism based on the findings. You might also discuss how you think absenteeism (or lack thereof) affected your firm’s performance throught the semester. The key is that the research should be from the list of high quality peer reviewed journals that I posted on Blackboard.
