2. The text was published in 2003. How far have we come since then? Looking at Figure 10.1 (covers 2 pages), identify which ones are still valid.
3. Explain the ISO 14001 concept to your future boss. How will this affect your future career as an environmental/safety/health manager?
4. Describe what an EIA, EA or EIS would need to research/cover for a new biofuel plant in Missouri. For example, what kind of permits would you need? You may have to do additional research to answer the question.
5. The multimedia approach in Ch. 11 talks about 3 basic types; what are they?
6. Looking at the text’s vulnerability checklist, how does your worksite compare? If your worksite is your home office or the library, evaluate that instead.
7. NEPA and the CEQ are big news recently. Find an article about the changes proposed, share the link, summarize what you learned, and tell your opinion about the changes proposed.
