Hi. The requirements of the Investment Memo this time are still the same as the one you helped me with last time. This time we have two options. The following information is from my instructor:
“For Investment Memo #3, you have a choice of entrepreneurs with products in the sleep category.
1. Eliza van Reen and Sleep CPS is an American Ph.D. and entrepreneur with many referred articles (useful for doing research about her work ) and loads of non-dilutive funding behind her (US Navy money that allows the entrepreneur to continue research without having to sell any equity).
2. Hamid Hamafi, NovaResp, is also a Ph.D. wanna-be entrepreneur with a lot of local people in his cap table (30 or 40 local doctors and associates he has raised money from) in the CPAP industry. He is trying to raise capital to either join an existing CPAP company or go it on their own.
Both of these entrepreneurs have very good points and some significant drawbacks when assessing for an Investment Memo.”
I don’t have any information about them from class this time, so all information need to be found on the websites of Crunchbase, TechCrunch and CB insights.
