05 | 13 – Frankenstein Inspires
Objective: I can understand, analyze, evaluate, and use different types of multi-media.
Step 1: Find 10 images inspired by any Frankenstein book and insert them into a document.
Step 2: Answer the following questions.
- What do you notice about the images?
- Were they inspired by the text or more by other media portrayals of the monster?
- If you just looked at the images would you get a sense for what the overall story might be about? If so, what is that message? If not, why do you think it is different?
- How is the message of the text changed by these depictions?
- When someone first hears the word Frankenstein, they typically think of the monster instead of Victor. Why do you think that is?
