Take your recommendation report and reconfigure it so that it becomes a presentation, with you presenting your research to a committee of managers, including your direct boss.
The Slideshow:Keep in mind that you should NOT just copy and paste your report onto slides. A crucial element of this assignment will be adapting the print report into a visual medium. Make smart, intentional design choices to best display your findings. Remember that you will be unfolding and explaining your findings as you flip through your slides, so you want to guide your audience through your presentation, and include only the most relevant facts and evidence on the slides. Direct their attention to charts with creative and specific titling and phrasing, so that they know what to make of the evidence.
Include charts and graphs, as you did in your report, but consider whether they might need tweaking visually to suit a slideshow or a darkened room.
You do not
have to include elements like the letter of transmittal or the table of
contents, as you would for a print report. If there was something you missed in
your report that you’d like to include in your presentation, that is fine and
encouraged.
