1-Choose one of our readings for the week(“There is No Shame Worse than Poor Teeth in a Rich World” What is a System of Privilege,” or “School Segregation, the Continuing Tragedy of Ferguson”) and locate what you take to be the thesis or central argument of the article. What kind of argument are they making? If it’s one of the models described in Chapter 6, which one? If not, how else is the author using the argument to engage in a previous conversation? How does the author provide context for the argument that helps us see how the article engages in that conversation?
