For this assignment you will compose an argumentative essay. You must make a strong claim in which you lay out your opinion, and then use logos, ethos, and pathos in order to support that claim. You will want to avoid using any logical fallacies in your argument or your sources. You should make sure that your argument is structured on a strong logical form, and take into account potential counterarguments to your claim.
You must use at least 4 unique sources to back up your claim as well.
Topic
You may write about any topic you choose, OTHER THAN: Religion, abortion, gun rights, or legalized drug use. Choose something you are passionate about, and feel deeply about, and make a strong, precise claim about that topic.
Though I will not be setting a size requirement, I would estimate that a well done paper with these components should be in the range of 1250-1500 words. Do not feel that you must fall into this range in order to receive a good grade, however, you can think of this range as a general guide.
