1- If you were asked to provide an argument on the topic/research you synthesized in Paper 2, what would it have been and why? Was your perspective changed by any of the research you did? How so? How would you see your argument contributing to the conversation established in your synthesis? This response should be 300 words ( don’t write more than that)
2- Peer Response Posts: For this assignment, you must post two responses to two posts from the discussion board. (Every person can receive no more than two responses so do not respond to a post that already has two responses, unless all of the submitted posts have two.) Each of these posts should be about 200 words long. (total of two posts)
Read over the thesis statements posted, then comment on the differences you see among the statements, on the quality of the statements (what makes them strong, what are their limitations) and ultimately, suggest revisions.
Good responses will be substantial in content and meaning, moving beyond a simple agreement or disagreement with a previous response. General ideas will be explained, using detailed examples from the text where appropriate. Responses will also be well written and thoughts will be presented in an organized, clear manner. Above all, these threads should function as discussions. They should read coherently as discussions. Pretend you are having a discussion in the classroom.
