A Basic outline for your Opinion Paper needs to have a brief summary of your book, opinion statement, and at least 4 paragraphs that use examples from the book that explain/support your opinion. Then you will end with a concluding paragraph that restates your opinion and gives a recommendation about the book. Answer the questions below to work through the parts of an outline. 2) Do you have some facts/examples from your book to support your opinion? List at least 2 main idea statements that can back up an opinion above.
3) You need to use one quote (and no more than 2) Do you have a quote recorded that you could use in your paper? Does it support your opinion?
part 2 : writing essay
Note: That your paper should be 2-3 pages long
You should have a well developed introductory paragraph which summarizes the book and then states your opinion (underlined) and why you hold that opinion.
You need to have at least 4 paragraphs that include an underlined main idea statement which clearly supports your opinion and then many details from the book that support the main idea. Connections to your life or experiences are also important as details supporting your main ideas. Conclude each paragraph by relating the material back to your opinion.
You also need to include 1 word for word quotation (in quotation marks) from your book that supports your opinion or main idea. This needs to be cited with the page number it was on listed after the quote.
You need a thoughtful conclusion which restates your opinion and gives the reader some sort of recommendation about the book.
