This assignment requires you to research, outline, and present a formal speech of introduction on a famous, real person (dead or alive). A formal speech of introduction should make the audience want to listen to the speaker and bolster the credibility of the speaker. When preparing and presenting the speech, assume that you are actually introducing this person to your class as a guest speaker. I’d like to do, Emily Dickinson and how it explains that women over the years have to constantly reinvent themselves in order to seek something that’s easily accessible to men however in the case of Emily Dickinson she became famous for her poems after her death. The files “outlining.docx” and “introspeechexample.pdf” or examples and an outline of what the overall physical paperwork Hass to be typed out and the “speech of introduction rubric.docx” is the rubric that goes to that. “speech of introduction.docx” is the outline in which I would use to present the information. So realistically what would happen is I will take the outline and put it in a more natural and verbal way that I will present it as for the actual speech. So realistically there is two papers that will be returned for this assignment. One being the actual outline and the other one will be the typed out speech. If that makes sense they’re both the same thing but one satisfies the rubric for the outline and the other one takes the outlines information and puts it in a friendly manner in which I can present it.
