The purpose of this assignment is to apply the 9-Step Approach for operational planning of a small-scale food distribution event at a County Fair. The successful completion of this assignment will get you ready for the more complex Course Project which uses a 31-item list for planning large-scale special events.
Like the Course Project, you will be provided with a PowerPoint template and a checklist to complete the assignment. Each task on the checklist corresponds with a slide on the PowerPoint template. Click on the links to access the template and the checklist.
You will be graded on a rubric which closely corresponds with the checklist. Each slide on the PowerPoint template will require an image (map, table, picture, graph, chart, diagram, etc.), and a brief narrative explanation of the image underneath in the notes section of the slide. One point will be awarded for each slide image and one point for each corresponding narrative explanation, for a maximum total of 20 points. This includes the title page and the reference list slide.
