  1. Interview an upper primary (Grades 3-5) teacher about writing lesson plans for a social studies lesson. Use the Questions for Teacher Interview as a guide.

    Observe the teacher implementing a lesson in a classroom setting. Consider the Questions for Teacher Observation during your observation.

    • Responses from the interview questions and discussion, plus a summary of your impressions
    • A description of the observation setting, age or grade level, content area, and the general makeup of the students
    • A summary of your impressions from the observation, including your answers to the Questions for Teacher Observation
    • A comparison of the differences between the teacher you interviewed in Week 3 and the teacher you interviewed in Week 5 and their instructional methods.
