For Field Experience B, please observe 5 hours of videos related to Phonemic Awareness. This is the first component of the five components of reading. Being aware of the importance of phonemic awareness along with strong strategies to help students master these skills is key.
Phonemic Awareness will be our focus in Week 3.
After watching videos related to phonemic awareness, summarize in 250-500 words your observations and how you will use your findings in your future classroom. Videos can relate to phoneme deletion/addition, phoneme isolation, phoneme identity, categorization, blending, segmenting, etc.).
Don’t forget to list the video names, link, time and total time. Please use GCU format.
