Topic: After reading “Dear Dad: Save Your Sons,” under Writing Assignments on p. 602 choose either #1 or #2. (If you choose #1, substitute “write a paragraph” for “write an essay.”)

Select and arrange your ideas in a plan or outline before drafting. Once the first draft is complete, rethink and revise as necessary.
