Your team has been hired by ATZ Finance to develop this application called eFinance, and the system should be a high quality system that meets both the functional and non-functional requirements of eFinance. Some useful questions/points to consider include:
- Who are the users of this system and what are their roles?
- Number of use cases?
- Ensure compliance of Federal regulations for financial institutions [1, 2]
- The interface should be designed to be both simple and user-friendly, ultimately supporting the myriad of mobile platforms available today.
Design the system to work in a highly modularized, potentially multisite environment that allows the seamless access of financial and other data in a safe, secure, and accurate way. In the first few weeks of the course you will work intensively to establish the both the functional and non-functional requirements for the system.
The instructor will act as the overall product owner but it will be up to you to gather detailed requirements for the project.
