Multi-national Presentation

Select a country / education system (other than the USA). Prepare a formal report to share via Zoom/Youtube with the class on that system addressing the following: history of development, major philosophical and ideological foundations, goals/objectives, main features and organizational structure: data on size (#s); “success” of the system and outcomes; major issues and influences. Provide other pertinent information on historical, social, cultural, and political context, and information regarding school counseling issues such as student/counselor ratio, models for school counseling programs, and data on success of school counseling programs. Include an analysis/conclusion in which you compare this foreign education system with American education (addressing similarities and differences, distinct features, and universal issues). Provide a complete bibliography, visuals (pictures, diagrams, charts, maps), and tabulated/graphed data.
