A cyber crisis, like that of an emergency event, can become overwhelmed quickly with surge activities and information flow. To enable an organization to successfully manage a cyber crisis requires advance planning, training exercise, and the ability to adjust and adapt processes and procedures as needed should planned communication channels or decision-makers are not available.
Read Chapter 10 in your textbook and conduct additional research on cyber crisis management methods. In a two or more page paper in APA format:
- Describe the components of the cyber crisis management process.
- Describe the management of the recovery process.
- Any step(s) in both processes do you agree or disagree with and why?
- Any additional step(s) you believe should be added to these processes?
