.Hey guys, I really need help with this assignment. I really need help getting a good grade on it. Please help me out!

Purpose

This deliverable should be as complete as you can make it. All sections that you intend to include should be fully composed and organized, as if the document were heading to the printers.

Notes:

  • YES you may insert a placeholder address and contact information like 1234 Road Street, Town City, Alabama 54321
  • After you turn on track changes, you can adjust the way you view the edits you are making in Word using the Tracking block of the Review tab in the ribbon.
  • Students should also provide the full text of the job ad (or graduate programs) that their résumé and cover letter respond to in A1 and B1. These things are dynamic and often disappear, so a link alone is not sufficient. Be sure you have included the full text.
  • Students should submit the DRAFT of their résumé packages as one MS Word file. It should be constructed in two sections by following the directions below. Yes, it will be a long document but we won’t be printing them.
  • DO NOT turn on track changes until you reach step 4.

You should have a draft document that looks something like this:

Section A (Job or Program 1)

  1. the job ad (qualified for now)
  2. cover letter (or personal statement if applying to a Grad Program)
  3. résumé (or curriculum vitae if applying to a Grad Program)

Section B (Job or Program 2)

  1. the job ad (qualified upon graduation)
  2. cover letter (or personal statement if applying to a Grad Program)
  3. résumé (or curriculum vitae if applying to a Grad Program)

These steps must be followed precisely.

Please construct your document in the following way:

  1. Create Section A and its contents
  2. Add section B1
  3. Copy A2 and A3 into section B below B1 — Now you will have from top to bottom A1,A2,A3, B1, A2,A3. (We need the second copies of A2, and A3 to serve as the base model for the second letter and résumé . After Step 4 you will transform them into B2 and B3.)The image shows the MS Word Ribbon and the spatial location of the controls to activate Track Changes on the review tab.
  4. Turn on “Track Changes”Students should use “track changes” in MS Word to show the material that differs in each résumé and cover letter so it is easy for the instructor to identify. Students who do not include this “Track Changes” feature in the draft will not be permitted to submit a final copy for this assignment.
  5. Transform the copied A2 and A3 into B2 and B3 by revisiting the Audience Analysis sheets you made for each and transforming the content you pasted into something tailored specifically to Audience B.

Timing

This draft will be submitted about one week after the Audience Analysis was submitted. The Draft will be proofread by two of your colleagues who will look for errors and for readability, formatting, and completeness. You will use the feedback from those proofreading comments to prepare your final CRC. You will in turn proofread two of your peer’ drafts.

Scoring

This deliverable will be evaluated as complete/incomplete. A mark of Complete is necessary to move to the next phase.
