Watch the video “Growing Up Poor in America”

Write a Reflective Journal (RJ) answering the following prompt:

How can we as a society address the issue with “Cost of living” and equitable salaries? Should we prioritize education and have a higher salary to those that are educated? How does the USA fix this problem with families growing up poor?

You are expected to write a Reflective Journal (RJ) for credit. The RJ are centered on thoughts, feelings, or reactions to an experience that can enhance learning, knowledge acquisition, and understanding. It is a form of critical thinking and review. Your RJ should include your personal perspective on the topic/ prompt, the way you feel about the topic/ prompt, and the reactions you experienced from the topic/ prompt and make a theoretical connection using scholarly source. It can be a form of expression; however, it must be supported and connected to academic research. You need to use our course readings, any resource in our college library, and other course textbooks you have used. All RJ need to be submitted on CANVAS by the due date prior to grading. DO NOT USE GOOGLE OR OTHER ONLINE SOURCES! Use ELAC’s LIBRARY DATABASE

Please check for grammar, syntax, and APA formatting before submitting (F7). If you need help or need guidance with your writing, please schedule with the College Writing Center, The Library, or a Tutor. You can also request an appointment with me to provide support, guidance, or feedback.
