Put all of the above information into a short report (4-5 pages, MLA double spaced). Remember, this does not mean you’re simply copy-pasting; rather, you’re doing an analysis that ends with an evaluation. Finish with a 1 paragraph evaluation to end your report. Stay either in the 1st or 3rd person throughout. (total paragraphs = 10)

OUTLINE:

The research question you’re trying to answer in your report:

  • Based on your research of three companies, internships, or/and graduate programs, what made the final company, internship, or graduate program you choose the most attractive for you?

The report should be divided into the following three sections:

Section One: Introduction and explanation of the topic (~2 paragraphs)

  • Explain the purpose of your work: Summarize the work you have done and clearly state what were you aiming to find out.
  • You can also state the importance of your project and its relevance for you.

Section Two: Briefly discuss your Research Methods (~2-3 paragraphs)

Section Three: Discuss your Research Findings (~4-6 paragraphs)

  • provide an analysis where you tell your reader what you learned: What made your final company, internship, or graduate program choice the most attractive for you?
  • you can divide your analysis into topics: for example, if you’re writing on a company, you could write one paragraph on “Wages and Benefits,” and another on “Special Skills Needed,” etc.
  • Finish with a 1 paragraph evaluation to end your report.
