Having picked your agencies, you have commented this past week on whether your choice fairs well regarding climate change. It is the big environmental problem that humanity will face over the next decade. The other protests heard around the world are denouncing brutality against the Black community—and systemic issues of racism at large. Organizations across industries have been declaring their support of the Black Lives Matter movement. What does your chosen site say?

1. Submit your chosen organization’s name and address along with a picture of their onsite signage (or from their website).

  2. Next critique your feelings about the position being taken by your chosen agency. IF there is nothing you can find, please create your own suggested post by your agency. Nike example: Nike faced protests and boycott threats, but also won many plaudits for its stance and a jump in sales clearly indicated that Nike’s solidarity with Kaepernick was being repaid by the consumer. But soon, the attention shifted to Nike’s own diversity as a company – public records show that in 2019 less than 10% of its 300-plus vice-presidents worldwide were black.

“During this past year, we’ve stepped up our own efforts and measures of accountability in the areas of diversity, inclusion and belonging to foster an inclusive environment and attract a more diverse workforce,” Nike’s CEO John Donahue said in a statement released on 5 June.
