Assignment 2: Discussion: Technology in Business
In this assignment, you will enhance your awareness of the technology used in everyday life by recording each instance of your contact with technology for one day.
Research
For one business day during this week, you will record all the instances when you encounter technology and the business purpose that technology serves. Present your observations in a log, noting for each item the time, place, technology, and use of the technology.
Discussion
With reference to the technologies you observed, reflect on how that business would be different if the observed technologies did not exist. Use the following questions to guide your initial response:
- How would your life be impacted if the pieces of technology you encountered disappeared?
- What would be the impact on the business if certain aspects of technology were not available?
