- Next week, you will be submitting your final assignment in COM510, the presentation. This week’s discussion goal is to make a video so you can figure out the lighting, setting, audio, and visuals for the presentation.
- Using your written plan, pare down the headline, problem, solution, benefit, and call to action (or the most important elements of your plan’s design), into a short, 5-minute video presentation. Don’t go over 5 minutes.
- Think about a “jaw-dropping” opening story, statistic, or something to engage your target audience.
- Use visuals or props.
- State your problem, solution, benefit, and end with a call to action.
- In a 3–5 minute video, discuss your approach to your video.
- Ask for help from your classmates and professor on any aspects of your production, script, or presentation in your video.
- Be sure to respond to at least one of your classmates’ posts.
