For this assignment, design a short questionnaire (approximately 10 questions) to utilize when interviewing the director of special education, an assignment you will complete next week. Be sure to explore use of formal and informal assessments and how personnel are prepared to implement them. Please include a short narrative describing the questions and how the interview will be conducted (pre-interview decisions, how will it be conducted, recording answers, etc.).

Sample Questions:

• How often do you visit your local schools?
• How do you prepare teachers and paraeducators to conduct formal and informal assessments?
• Are you involved in the evaluation process for special education teachers and paraeducators?
• Do you provide training or assistance to principals concerning provision of services to students with special needs?
