Step 1: Construct a case study that highlights one or more
challenges in infant and child development.
Drawing on knowledge gained through Lesson 4 materials, write a case
study that presents a developmental challenge that parents, infants or
toddler and child care professionals must work through to ensure the
best possible learning and growth for the child and the best practices
and strategies for adults.
You should write the case study as a narrative that introduces a
specific developmental issue or related issues that a single family with
one or more infants or toddlers is facing. Introduce the family and
outline a specific developmental issue or series or issues that child
care professionals can respond to with research-based knowledge and the
implementation of sound practices.
